Voice your opposition to the Israeli actions for the past 65+ years

Absolutely. That's what makes me so perplexed by supporters of Israel; can't they see the human cost of Israel's agenda?!

Israelis have completely dehumanised Palestinians, and when they speak with such vehemence the uneducated listen and believe the propaganda.

Israel won't stop until Hamas stops, and Hamas won't stop until the blockade is lifted, Palestinians who don't even like Hamas support that notion.

http://www.aljazeera.com/indepth/op...ional-resistance-hama-201472455310925202.html

How bad must blockaded Gaza be, if Palestinians support Hamas' insistence on lifting of the siege as a condition of ceasefire - even if that insistence may prolong Israel's deadly pummelling of the tiny, sealed strip?

Think about that for a few moments. Living under threat of death from the military is a more attractive option that living in Gaza under siege.

But if Israel didn't that they anti missile system, how many of their citizens would have been killed?

Most of their rockets land in the middle of nowhere, they are way less effective than Israel would have you believe, they are little more than fireworks with more explosive in terms of accuracy.

M75 mortars are a little more accurate, but only a 9km range.

Most of us aren't Muslims - yet some of us hold anti Israel (not to the people but more political) views - does that mean we hate Jews? Of course not, you can despise a regime in a country without it meaning we care about what religion they are. I care about Israeli people because I feel sorry that they are being tarred with the brush cast by their political/military behaviours, but unfortunately a lot of them seem to act up on it rather than stand defiantly against it. However, I care more about the Palestinians who have been oppressed, decimated and obliterated for decades and never once offered much chance to so much as have an ability to breathe in their own country - and made to be the bigger evil of the 2.

Pretty much says it all.

It seems Israel has not learned the lesson of the 1930's. Then they were the powerless minority in Europe. Now THEY have power over another powerless minority and behave like the oppressor.

In an individual you could claim PTSD and get treated. How do you apply treatment to a nation?

Wonder how the Israelis will spin this one, peaceful protest full of women and children.

I know his writings were well received so have added the man speaking to democracy now.

So Israel is saying that it could have been a stray Hamas rocket that hit the UN shelter, despite the UN saying that they had given Israel the exact coordinates for the shelter, and also the fact that Israel was carrying out mortar attacks in the local area around that time.

Unbelievable

They were going on the evening news channels saying 'we don't know yet what happened', 'it could have been Hamas' etc. Just so they could add some uncertainty to the news coverage and point the finger at Hamas when they knew full well that it was an Israeli strike that killed all those children.

Here is a very interesting video from an Ex-Israeli soldier. It's 40 minutes long but the keypoints are summarised in the link below.

http://www.digital-resistance.com/insight/ex-israeli-soldier-speaks-out-shocking-truth-about-israel/

The talk by Eran Efrati was filmed in Denver, Colorado on March 3, 2014 as part of The Soldier and the Refusenik U.S. tour with Maya Wind. Eran talk about his experiences in the IDF and then more broadly discusses Israel, its relationship to the U.S. and the global expansion of militarism.

Eran Efrati, 28, was born and raised in Jerusalem. After graduating high school he enlisted in the IDF, where he served as a combat soldier and company sergeant in Battalion 50 of the Nachal Division. He spent most of his service in Hebron and throughout the West Bank. In 2009, he was discharged and joined Breaking the Silence, an organization of veteran Israeli soldiers working to raise awareness about the daily reality in the Occupied Territories. He worked as the chief investigator of the organization, collecting testimonies from IDF soldiers about their activities. He also guided political tours and to the West Bank and worked to educate Israeli youth about the reality of being a soldier in an occupying army. His collected testimonies appear in the booklet “Operation Cast Lead” and their most recent release “Our Harsh Logic”. Since leaving Breaking the Silence, his investigative reports appeared in The New York Times, The Washington Post and The Guardian. Today he is active with the Israeli groups Anarchists Against the Wall and Boycott from Within.

Some people will still prefer having the wool over their eyes though.

This article on the BBC news site highlights one of the major reasons for the blockade against Gaza. There has been extensive misappropriation of cement and building supplies destined for the civilian sector and population which hand then been used to build the massive tunnel network that is being used to, among others things, facilitate raids into Israel for kidnapping and murder of Israeli civilians and soldiers, the smuggling of weapons and the movement of rockets which are fired from exits.

The tunnels entrances are being hidden beneath civilian buildings such as schools, mosques and homes. This is the Israeli objective - clear out the tunnels to protect it's citizens.

Excuses excuses,

first its we're after hamas only,
then its we're after the rockets only,
then its we're after the tunnels only.

The excuses just keep coming.

Jon Snow (Channel 4 news reporter) leaves Gaza with the following message:
http://blogs.channel4.com/snowblog/bring-israelis-palestinians/24316

Gaza is not just about them, it’s about us, too
This is humankind’s most grievous cancer, for its cells infect conflicts in every corner of the world. We fail as humankind if we do not devise a coming-together. Our leaders, as a vast priority, have to try and try again to use every mechanism in our rare animal capacity - our considerable intellects – to bring these peoples to resolution whatever the cost.

The 'Iron Dome' is hilariously ineffective: 95% of rockets make it through. If that extra 5% hadn't been intercepted, Israel's civilian death toll of two would now be two and a badly cut arm.

Col. Richard Kemp, one of our war heroes had this to say on that exact question in the Sunday Times.
He's an idiot.

Found this - seems like its an accusation the saudi's deny:

That DEBKA group is a pro-zionist group so I bet they'd love to stir it up! Surprised middleeastmonitor reported it tbh!
DEBKAfile is an Israeli military intelligence website based in Jerusalem, providing commentary and analyses on terrorism, intelligence, national security, military and international relations, with a particular focus on the Middle East

Yes, absolutely, of course, that would entirely justify the murder of 800 people and we can certainly rely on the entirely unbiased BBC to be telling the truth.
  • To where do these massive tunnel networks extend? Iran? Afghanistan? Lebanon? Syria?
  • How many hundreds of Israelis have actually been kidnapped and/or murdered via these tunnels?
  • How come the Israelis can't detect the exits of these tunnels on THEIR side of the border and block them?
  • How exactly do you fire a rocket from within a tunnel hidden beneath civilian buildings such as schools, mosques and homes?
You would have to be a complete idiot to believe these lies. Israel's objective is to ethnically cleanse Gaza so as to make the land available for their squatters to occupy. The Israelis, with the active support of the West want to remove every last Palestinian from the region in order to achieve Greater Israel - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Greater_Israel

amazing stuff:

From London to Tel Aviv, the world says stop Israel's barbaric attack on Gaza
Stop the War Coalition 26 July 2014. Posted in News
Over 60,000 marched in London for the second time in a week, as towns and cities across the UK and worldwide, demonstrated for Gaza.

http://stopwar.org.uk/news/from-lon...-demonstrates-against-israel-s-attack-on-gaza

Excellent video there with sky news.

And all this time our politicians and leaders still back Israel -Thought our leaders were supposed to represent the people, not their own pockets.......so much for living in a 'democratic' society eh.....:rolleyes

There needs to be a wider discussion about why our elected officials seem to be gagged from speaking the truth against the lunatic state of Israel.

Worldwide support for Gaza:
