Hi
A friend is interested in the corsair 240 and is willing to wait for the white one, so gives him a bit of time to save up
He said he mainly plays B4, but the odd Football manager and plays games like castlecrashers, telltale games to chill out lol
He already as a 24" 1080p monitor, mouse, keyboard and a windows 7 pro license
His max budget is say £650-£700' tops but that must include the case as well, which is about £69.99
If it can be done cheaper than those prices then great.

Sorry he already has a 1tb and 320gb hard drive which he will use as a data drive
And doesnt need an dvd drive as i will borrow him my windows 7 on a usb drive
So if i take off the dvd drive and 1tb, will bring it under £650..
However are powercolor/xfx reliable graphic card brands?

OCUK deal with powercolor warranty if I remember correctly. I am not sure about xfx warranty. I thought ocuk had stopped selling xfx stuff because of the poor warranty support although I might be wrong.

They've started reselling XFX stuff with their own OcUK warranty. Personally I'm still not convinced about XFX but time will tell. In the past they almost always cheaped out on something somewhere :S i.e. not bothering with proper voltage regulation on some PSUs, low quality capacitors on some GPUs, etc.

Touchwood my XFX psu has been great up to now, although that is more down to Seasonic I guess :D

Never got a feel for the baseline with those seasonic based ones - don't know of anyone with a problem with one, don't know anyone who has one and not working in a job where I'd encounter it any more.
