You don't have to, but most people do take their own PC/Laptop, even when flying over. They do (or did) offer PC hire though. But as you can imagine; high rent, low spec.

Definitely going to the one in November.

Looking g forward to the new venue, I only ever attend summer land as it coinsides with our clan meet and BBQ so why not do it at Lan!

all the people i know going are taking rigs , i knew i should have built an ITX/M-ITX.. you don't have to take it though , i am taking mine for when the entertainment stops i can play around on some games

....

This is my first Insomnia but my mates go most years in a clan but they invited me along and i thought why not its everything i enjoy under one roof and i might upload some pictures if you like

basically half of a desk. enough for one monitor and a computer.

I wil be there as always guys, you will know my computer... just look for white and orange!!!

You get about 70cm x 70cm of actual desk space, its not as small as you might think. Last year i had my Case (Lian Li v354), 21inch monitor (Samsung 223bw) and huge TTe Sports macro keyboard, and still had room to spare!

Gutted I'm missing out this year. However, what I won't be missing is the minecraft expo that brings in all the snotty kids running about and the shameful look of 'you're in your 20's and still gaming? Grow up!' from the parents
