Hmmm not sure on this one buddy as far as art eraser holding cold.the whole point i would have though it to protect against condensation.. GPU Sub zero i would agree on....then again depends on what they are doing WIth cpu's you can get almost as good as overclock with DICE as you can with LN2 and there is
not a cold boot bug with DICE.

In the end and in my experience if the silicon physically wont get there, then no amount of LN2 or DICE will help. However with us mortals LN2 is expensive and BOC wont deliver unless your order 40 litres a month-not to mention the cost of the duwar.

Also i have found with LN2 one is spending too much time with a hairdryer to warm things up again, rather than simply enjoying overclocking......though i cannot speak for anyone else of course. but all things considered DICE is the way forward for me.

I do the same with cpu cores. coat the CPU BOTTOM SIDE with Vaseline (no need for a hairdryer) and simply place the cpu inside the socket....... coats all the pins nicely then

This is a very bad idea now adays. Endless memory problems with Vaseline in the socket.

I agree, but in socket 775 no issue as mem controller is on the motherboard.........

Hey fella's just to let you know, will be attempting to break my own (uk DICE record on this chip) score on DICE on august the 30th and I will be there with a spare board, to show how all the insulation is done.

If anyone here can get up to morley /leeds and see the event let me know via trust message please.

Whilst I am not to the level of 8 pack, I recon I know what I am doing
