I've got a thread open here asking users of the LG Flatron 29UM65-P 29" WideScreen Super-Wide LED Monitor about their experiences.

Hopefully this may help :) I'm sooooo tempted despite possible space issues

In what way, 1ms, 1 billion colours, 144hz is going to be a couple of years yet, we've only just started seeing it on 1080

Its very hungry on the GPU so I think the monitors and the GPUs need work - not really sure what's involved, but it can only get better!

Your thread was making me want one more :P I want to get one of those arctic cooling dual monitor stands and use it with my lg w2363d too, but I don't think it'd work

Not sure which thread its in, but there's a picture of someones desk with 2 34" LG monitors setup as top/bottom.

Looks very nice.

4K needs more time to mature. Get an ultrawidescreen!! If I had the space, I know I would :(

It's mature. The Samsung has been flawless in all games. There is now not a single game in 300 that does not function perfectly in 4k on my steam. 2 Regular 780s is fine for Crysis 3.

Only game you wouldn't want to play at all on a 3gb card is watchdogs as it doesnt even work right on megalow settings.

What sort of frame rates would you get with one, or possible two, reference R9 290's with the AA turned off?

If I'm going to invest £500 or so for a new monitor before the end of the year I would be interested in 4K just to get a longer lifespan from it. Could always upgrade the GPU later which would be easier than both a new monitor and GPU a year or two down the line.

1 290 probably about 35/40 FPS, 2 I would says 75fps average in bf4 with AA off, as above my 2X290x's pull 80/90 depending on the map (stock).

Using max settings?

Yeah all Ultra no AA, cant even see it when added 3 inches away from the screen
