As title really.
Basically, car refused to start a few weeks back, disconnected then reconnected the battery and it started. This has happened several times in the last few weeks and happens at any time it fancies, either dead cold or hot, gradually taking more goes at getting it to start until a few days back when it took over an hour to get it going. It turns over perfectly well all the time this is happening.
Battery is under a year old and in good shape.
It's almost started without me having to disconnect the battery on a couple of times this has happened, i.e. sounded like it was going to fire on a couple of occasions for the duration of one crank, but nothing else. I can hear the fuel pump priming if that helps.
Anyone want a cheap convertible? Alternatively anyone have any idea what this might be?
Cheers!
