need some peopless opinions..

hey guys im re overclocking my CPU i74770k from stock to 4.4ghz with a new cooler (corsair h100i) i used before (Prolimatech Black Megahalems CPU air cooler) and was hitting around 80c playing BF4 so would i see a dramatic difference using h100i over Prolimatech Black Megahalems CPU air cooler or is the overclock too high?

You will see a difference but I doubt it will be dramatic

At the same noise levels the Megahalems probably runs cooler.

The same can be said when comparing any cooler to the loud as fudge h100

should i reduce the overclock then if my cpu is reaching 80c in bf4?

See if you can turn the Vcore down a bit to reduce temps therefore noise. Secondly if that doesn't work then try to reseat the cooler using decent thermal paste.

Most CLCs are noisy.
