The only test so far indicates the PC5 is the better tyre:

Though 2nd is a fairly good showing. It's a thoroughly mid-range tyre though, look at the tyres its tested against. I'd still be paying the extra for a tyre from the next tier up, it isnt much more.

This and notice that all the tyres it beat were nothing special.

Be good to have a test which includes the following:-
Michelin cup2
Michelin PSS
Goodyear F1AS2
Continentals latest offerings
Dunlops latest
Rainsport 3
Yokohama V105
Yokohama AD08R
Pirelli Pzero

The test should focus on wet and dry road driving along with track wet and dry handling/grip along with feedback/confidence levels provided by the tyre. The test car should be something like a 1500kg sporty saloon, M4 comes to mind. :D

I was about to purchase 4 x RS3s a few months ago until I notices they were not symmetric - what I mean by that is if a car in front has them and you are looking at the rear tyres, the tread on one is the same as the other instead of a mirror. To me it looks odd and goes against my OCD grain.
It looks like the water would dispell differently on each side.

The tyre *pair is still symmetrical, its just one tyre on its own is a-symmetrical, unless the tyre fitter puts the wrong tyres on the wrong wheels.

Must say having both on my car, 4 x rs2 and now pc5 on the front(driven) wheels as the fronts wore out I actually prefer the rs2 on balance.

rs3 will definitely be on the radar next time I need tyres.
