I find wifi perfectly fine, would opt for wired but it means using them homeplugs, got enough wires already.
Should I have deep colour output on auto or off? , thought I read latest update put it to off, cant say I can remember if it was on auto or off before.

The 2.4ghz WiFi in the PS4 is much slower than a short-range 5ghz connection.
Other way round, IFA instead of PIFA. No idea on the difference though, I use ethernet for most things

they try and reduce the cost of a console over it's lifetime so i'm guessing these different parts are cheaper they also make the CPU and GPU smaller with advances in technology and therefore more efficient because they consume less power.
tbh if you already own the console there is no point in "side grading" to a newer one unless you like throwing money away they will all play the games the exact same way

Started having issues with my PS4 and vibration noises. I can near enough get rid of it If I place something under the front left and something else under the back right (different heights). If I gentle pull on the case, or push down on it the vibration returns. It's as if the case itself rather than anything inside it is causing the problem. Should I send this back under warranty or just keep it balanced? Seems quite a few people suffer from this.
Also my front fan near the USB ports (front right corner) is a bit hit/miss. Sometimes it'll make noises as if the fans blades are catching something. If I turn my PS4 off, pick it up and turn it over, then turn it back over to its normal position and turn it back on it the noises are gone. Nothing is loose inside it though? Just a badly seated fan?

Ordered a PS4 with TLoU yesterday, arriving today. I've pretty much ignored TLoU so quite looking forward to seeing what all the hype is about. I'm slightly worried at all these tales of borked PS4s I've been reading about on a few forums.
Same here! I think the point is that when you die you spend your gold on upgrades and this allows you to progress further every time. Possibly
