Sounds like it could be the pump on the H50. What are you idle/load temps like?
That sounds like it could be right.
Right now all 4 cores around 30-35 idle
What do you mean by load temps? Such as when im playing games?
Indeed or running stress test software like prime.
Ill run metro last light for a while and let you know. In the mean time - Question above, man?

I guess i'm buying a new one. Any ideas which i should go for?

Is it under warranty? If so, I'd get it swapped out and pick up a cheal £10-15 cooler to tide you over untill the RMA comes through.
If not, try the Antec 920, Corsair H50/H75/H80i or, if you want to spend more, the H100i or Antec 1220.
I'd check warranty first and then make a choice. AIO or Air cooler.
A few options below, included anther water cooler.
YOUR BASKET
1 x Antec Kúhler H2O 950 Liquid CPU Cooler £37.99
1 x Alpenföhn Matterhorn Pure Edition CPU Cooler £29.99
1 x Raijintek Themis Direct Contact CPU Cooler £19.99
1 x Deepcool GAMMAXX S40 CPU-Cooler - 120mm £19.99
Total : £117.56 (includes shipping : £8.00).

What case are you using? as you might need to remove the motherboard if you sony have a cut out behind the cpu socket.
The Themis and the Antec are currently in stock, it might be worth going for the Antec.
You can always purchase a extender cable like the one below:

Just a few last questions for when my cooler arrives.
Do i have to take off the opposite panel of my computer case (Which i can do) in order to change the cooler? I've noticed with some of them you have to change the metal panel on the back of the motherboard, and with some you dont? Depending on which manufacturer it is, correct?
And, is there anything else i should know before attempting to change the cpu cooler?
Yes, that is correct!
You'll need to install the backplate provided and you'll normally have a cut out behind the motherboard tray for such a task!
By the looks of things that may not fit in the same spot. The new one is much thicker , so even with one fan it's going to be wider than your current setup with one fan. Ideally you want to use two fans push and pull setup.
You can though use the fan mounts at the top of the case. That would be my bet.
