Spec me a 23/24" monitor

Hi guys, i donated my old 24" monitor to my little brother and today it went bang. He's looking to replace it for something cheap and good for gaming (tn unless others are good for fps game). What suggestions do you guys have, the monitor that went was a samsung t240 which is quite old and 1200P but he would be happy with 1080P as his pc is a little bottlenecked at the higher resolution.
