Time for PS4?

So I said to myself that I'm not going to buy any next gen console purely because nothing appeals to me on either console.

So today I can see the PS4 down to 269.99 and I was wondering if there are any decent titles out for it.

Obviously its a matter of taste and choice, but I would be very eager to hear your experiences of the PS4 and whether now is the time to get one or whether there are not enough decent titles for it.
 
The Last of Us and Infamous Second Son are both decent games to pick up.

Thats quite a good price too.

I can't see it being worth it yet unless you would greatly benefit from using it to turn your living room TV into a smart TV with blu-ray.

I'm trying to resist picking up a Xbox One mainly due to the Halo revamp coming out in November.

Wasn't my intention. Saw an email from Simply Games which said 269.99 but it made no reference to being refurbished only until you click on the link.

Thanks to everyone else for their input. Think I will give it a miss for now.
 
I've taken the plunge in recent weeks and really am impressed. (I came from Xbox 360).

I'd really recommend Watch Dogs and Tomb Raider.
 
Put a fair bit of time into PS4 version of BF4 , because it's easier. :)

FIFA 14 got a lot of attention.

Infamous is good, enjoying Last of Us MP. Definitely played it far more than I have PC for the past six months.
 
Do it. I got mine just over a week ago. Destiny in 6 weeks, Driveclub in 10, some good stuff already out. Perfect time to jump in. £269 is a steal, seriously.

Mine was a Tesco refurb off eBay, other than having some stranger's username on it when I turned it on, the actual console and everything it came with was in brand-new condition, even had all the plastic etc on.
 
I think it's worth getting one now. There are quite a few games that are excellent that you could pick up for cheap - KZ, Infamous, TLOU. Now BF4 is fixed it's a good game.
And once the summer holidays are out of the way all the good games start coming out starting with Destiny.
 
It might just be. For the last few weeks, for the first time since launch, I've been playing my PS4 - and more than than any other format. Destiny Beta, Tower of Ascension (which is the best 4 player local co-op game since Bomberman!) and The Last of Us, whch is just glorious in single and multiplayer. Full blown Destiny is out soon so yes, now might be the time to pick up a PS4 :)
 
Excellent time to get one. last of us, infamous, watch dogs are all amazing games imo. and loads coming up, and there are loads of awesome psn titles to get going with .. at that price as well steal .
