Need help choosing a new car

Click that on your OP and ask for the titled to be changed.

Done, feels weird reporting a post of my own :P

You could possibly edit your first post and be more detailed about what sort of car you're looking for ;)

From the suggested cars in this thread, I would personally choose between golf and octavia VRS. :D

I bought a 2005 DSG 2.0T for 9k around 5 years ago. When I was I'm the market for a new car I considered a newer 8P but they just weren't value for money.
8P2 is a lot nicer to be in than 8P1. They even changed the intermittent wiper stalk to feel a lot more "premium" than the original.

Driving my 8P felt like a tank compared to my current car.

Goodness knows what an RS3 must be like to live with :D

Its night and day really my gf has a 08 s3 and i have a 13 plate a3 8v and her car is nice but the new 8v is such a nicer place to be inside and to drive that im gonna order another when my car goes back to work in year and a bit time.

Having owned one (a 10 year old one!) for a year I disagree.

Having owned a Mk3 Focus for just over a year now I have to agree with your disagreement. It is well put together, looks good (IMO) drives nicely and has more gadgets than most people could ever need.

Edited for thread wide improvement :D

:D Genuine lol.

86JR, you depress me and others here too. Define yourself by the four rings on your car. I'm surprised you haven't told the OP that if he doesn't get an Audi he'll have to spend every single day of his meaningless (Audi-less) existance being jealous of other road users. Why they didn't give you your request when you asked to be banned years ago is anyone's guess.

OP - Test drive the 1.8 TSI, its a cracking engine, road tax is slightly cheaper and obviously so is the insurance than on the vrs. I believe its also a bit better on fuel.

That is a mk3 focus not a mk1 focus. I would really hope by its third iteration the focus is actually decent.

They did.

I don't have that opinion. You just seem to hate Audis on here, but can't actually give any reason why. So one has to assume jealousy.

I have the 1.8 TSI in my A3 funnily enough ;)

I don't understand why he would be jealous of you. My car is crap but even I'm not jealous of you, because your A3 isn't really worth getting jealous over. I could replace my car with an A3 very similar to yours, right now, at 19, but I don't want to.

I'm sure the people you are accusing of being jealous could too.

There are people on here who it is understandable to be jealous of, I seem to remember having a brief chat with one guy who has a DB9 and some BMW's at 26.
