Hi all,

Not posted on here for ages, but thought I'd present my latest purchase. After owning the 350z and having lots of fun in that I still found myself wanting a little bit more and a bit more of an overall package so I present my new motor...

2003 BMW M3 E46
AC Schnitzer Exhaust + AC Carbon Fibre Diffuser
100k
Full BMW SH

Will get better pictures when I get chance to go out for a proper scenic hoon!

Cheers,

Interesting...

You're really not keeping these cars for long are you? Can't be financially healthy.

Anyway bit more info on the M3, purchase price, condition, preventative maintenance carried out / needed etc?

Also are the rear lights real units?

When is any good hobby?

I think there is a difference between a hobby consuming money and a hobby consuming money very quickly because you keep each car for 37 seconds. Seems to me like that you just can't find something worth keeping. Try buying a car you really like - its very rewarding.

Cost me £1500 change from the 350z

£1200 for car, £150~ Tax , £169 Insurance, car is very good condition, bodywork is fantastic, interior is great but some signs of small wear as you'd expect!

It was last serviced in February, nothing is needed atm from the looks of it. My daily mileage is tiny but will be my daily drive and few days of fun a week..

I get what you are saying.

I think this will keep me very happy for a while, lucky I don't change my girls as much....anymore ;)

How much did you pay if you don't mind me asking? A friend of mine is thinking of getting rid of his soon.

100k mileage FSH E46 M3's depending on condition/spec sell for 5.5k-8k though I've not seen a 6k bargain that is clean for sometime, think they have pretty much bottomed out now.

The E46 is a great looking car, especially the M3. :)

In the space of what seems like six months you'd had three epic cars, Porsche Boxster, 350Z and now this. Do you actually go epic for epic hoons and really push the cars on the road finding the limits and how they handle or are you mainly just using them to commute in, odd blast down dual carriage way/motorway and something which looks reasonably good to be in?

Just remember to use all 8000rpm, the S54 loves to be revved, hopefully its reliable and serves you well but at this age/mileage they can need a lot of work and TLC.

The 350z did a track day with me!

Yes I do go for epic hoons but I work an awful lot but when I find the time to I love to, ask Pete! :D

Also I covered 1000 miles in the 350z the other week visiting my girlfriend in wales that was a hell of a lot of fun! :D Will definitely miss it

After having driven my E46 316 for almost two years, I'm looking at going to either a 330ci or one of these. E46 is definitely my favourite 3 series.

Have fun in it dude :D

Interesting. Do you think it's about time to pick up a perfect low miler for investment purposes?
