Ryse: Son of Rome coming to PC this fall.

Carl Jones, director of business development at Crytek, said:

“We are bringing the Ryse experience to PC, with 4K resolution support. 4K gaming is another leap in graphics quality for PC gamers and Ryse is the perfect showcase for what’s now possible in high-end PC games. We’ve given our team the opportunity to show what CRYENGINE can really achieve, without compromising quality, thanks to the incredible hardware available now to PC gamers. Ryse will be a benchmark PC graphics showcase this year and probably for a long time in future. Our community asked for a Ryse PC version, and we have the means and technology to deliver this title with the highest quality possible.”

QTE?

I remember this looking pretty when first announced but getting abused when actually released. I'll wait for reviews on pc

having watched xbone playthroughs on this, it seems its a bit fanciful and repetive in terms of gameplay, mostly combo based limb hacking, of which there's far too much to be realistic. plus the plot is fanciful.

looks cool, but not something if you want a die hard roman simulator.

From what I remember reading around launch the game was average. It didn't make me want to go out and buy an Xbox one.

Given the poor state of Crytek finances recently I wouldn't be surprised if it ends up on PS4 before too long.

I'm only interested in 1 MS exclusive...Forza. Mind you, with Assetto Corsa and Project Cars, maybe the void has been filled a little.

Ive got it on the XB1 and its a pretty good game. The graphics are very nice, so on a top end PC, this will be the new benchmark on what games look like IMO.

Its actually not a bad game, I never understood the reviews Its just like any other action fighting game like God of War or Ninja Gaiden, yes its fairly repetitive but what do you expect your killing people with swords.

Its very pretty and I really enjoyed my first play though, my second play through on the hardest settings turned into a check point repeating nightmare (just like ninja gaiden) but was a challenge.

Ok the "history" is total BS but hacking off peoples limbs and heads never really gets old and the COOP gladiator thing is a good laugh with a mate. I paid full XBOX One Digital rip off price and I was happy enough, as a PC game at a lower price point if you like action hack em ups you cant really go wrong and turned up to 11 on PC it will look even better.
