As title. What's a silent, or EXTREMELY quiet, 120mm fan which would be good on a radiator?

As far as my own experiences go, SP120s are too loud even dialled down a bit. Noctuas are highly recommended but I've never tried them.

Noiseblockers look very good but I'm not sure which series (eLoops, Multiframes, or BlackSilent Pro) would be best for silence and as a rad fan. I have a 92mm Blacksilent Pro and I've been very impressed with it; at the full 1500rpm, it was literally inaudible. I was astounded, so I'm sort of leaning towards a Noiseblocker.

Noiseblocker on dads you should be looking at eloop.

What ever you choose I would do one or both of these things:

Fan controller, silent and radiator performance isn't two words often put together.

Over spec your radiator space, gives more room for quiet running fans.

Well the only option is an aio due to budget, and since I have a tiny case, it's going to be a 120mm :p

I won't be going for low temps though, just quiet operation.

From the ones you've listed I've only had experience with Noctua NF-F12 fans. They're expensive but work well and are barely audible at high rpms.

They're not so bad now they have the Industrial range. The previous beige ones were rather ugly though.

The 120mm version runs at a very high rpm and if I remember correctly, they are airflow optimised not static pressure

NB eLoops do look a lot better and match the white theme I want to go for, but if the Noctuas are going to be significantly quieter I'll go for them.

The nb Eloops are very quiet at low rpms, people underestimate them but at 800 rpms they create 7db of noise

I'm fairly impressed with the Aerocool DS Edition 140mm I picked up yesterday - imagine the 120mm is pretty similar. Whole thing is soft and bendy and unlikely to vibrate, and even the corners of the frame are rubberised so that when you screw it to the case, there's no chance of rattle or buzz.

I guess no fan is ever really silent, but these are very quiet, and the noise is low pitched and mostly inaudible unless you aim the airflow at your ear.

The best I've used in my entire life is the Scythe Gentle Typhoon 1850 RPM AP-15.

eLoop B12-3 are the sweet spot, preform very similarly to the Scythe GT 1850rpm models noise and air flow wise on radiators.

AP15s are just too hard to source/expensive now to be practical.

The B12-3 is the best eLoop from what I've read around, and being cheaper than the F12 (and considering how good this Noiseblocker I have is) it would be silly not to try it. Thanks all.
