Best current gaming laptop for around £1200-£1400??

Currently looking at the Gigabyte P35W v2-CF1 or CF2, although it seems these are mid refresh to improve the battery.

Am I shooting myself in the foot waiting for this refresh to be complete (start of Sept) or are other laptops with the same specs/price points available?

A few things the laptop must have
870 (no 860's please),
8GB+ ram
SSD 128GB+
Screen size 15.6" or better. Would prefer a IPS screen although if something else of the same quality I might consider it.
Black if possible! :D

Laptop will be used for gaming and film watching, along with the normal OCUK forum lurking. Battery life not sure an issue as long as its 4hours+ with normal use as will be replacing my desktop due to space issues.

I just picked up an MSI GS70 and it's awesome! Would highly recommend!
 
The Asus G750 range is quite nice and within your budget with your required spec. The MSI Gt72 is out the end of the month and is looking quite nice too if you can wait a few weeks.
