This is my thread about my new house and the progress I will me making as I do it up over the next couple of weeks to make it liveable.
Moved in 08/08/2014 and first thing I noticed is that the place is filthy, smells of cigar smoke and they left a lot of stuff including heavy furniture. Also was advertised as being fully plumbed in for dishwasher/washing machine yet the area for the dishwasher has no plumbing at all, which is funny because they had a dishwasher there, there is no way to get it plumbed in either as all the plumbing is on the other side of the kitchen! So just bought a dishwasher I can't use.
Spoke to solicitor straight away and the ex owners are coming to collect there stuff and have asked their neighbours to come collect it to put in their garages, so my new neighbours already hate me which I don't know why! Still waiting to hear about the plumbing situation and brought the family around to get cleaning. Because of all the stuff behind means I could barely move any stuff today which wasted a day of Van hire (which I won't get back), so I focused on cleaning.
So the photos of the mess and bits left behind! I'd be absolutely embarrassed and ashamed, put my back at throwing some of their ****e in the tip as well.
Garage full of stuff and these drawers where heavy as hell and fully of stuff to the brim as well as the fridge covered in mould inside along with a few bottles of wine!
Stuff left outside!
A bed and draws full again!
Loft absolutely full of vacuum packed items which I couldn't get into apart from poking my head in as I don't have a ladder at the moment.
Sink with food items in including a dog bowl and also a glass with a bit of beer still in it
A spot where their 'dishwasher' was which was advertised as fully plumbed in, Me thinks they just used the one from their new house as a dummy one to hide it!
More to follow..
