Are the new Corsair 1500i PSUs any good

As in the title are they any good.

The 1200i was rubbish and could not cope with 3 x 290Xs is the new 1500i any better.

The other thing I am interested in is can the 1500i use the same coloured cable kits as the 1200i as I have some of these laying around.

Ouch with that cable set its nearly 400 pounds for a psu :eek:

I have already got the cable set, I got it for one of my 1200i PSUs, unfortunately when I came to build the rig with my 290Xs I needed two PSUs and by then Corsair had changed the shade of blue so I was left with an old set of cables I could not use.

Here is one I built earlier as they say on Blue Peter. I had to get two new cable kits or it would have looked even more odd than it does now.
