There's hardly ever any mention of them on here? Could be testament to how trouble free they are?
I'm considering getting one sim free to upgrade from my 2 year old S3 but unsure if it's a wise choice? None of the latest flagships seem worth the money to me....
 
I've had one since last November. Completely trouble free and overall a great phone for me personally anyway.

You read the Nexus 5 thread, everyone raves about them but look at all those problems?

Seems us G2 owners have none of that :)
 
A family member of mine has one and it's brilliant.

Extremely good battery life
Really good camera with Optical image stabilisation
Thin bezel
Just the right size (IMHO)

Disadvantages- Only comes with 16GB of storage, no external storage :(

Otherwise I would have one right now.

Yeah might just get the 32gb version warranty or not...
 
Had mine a while now along with an S5.

Came from an S4 and it was a nice move, such a brilliant phone and it looks the part. Very smal bezel to screen ratio, its IMO the perfect size and weight. The S5 feels like a toy and looks like one next to it, the bezel size on the S5 is comical.

The screen is beautiful and crisp, just lacking in whites and blacks I feel, do miss buttons to press rather than on screen ones, sometimes I press back and lose what I type etc!

Battery life is very impressive, easilly a full 24hrs usage browsing and checking facebook etc, much better than my old S4 and I would say on par or better than the S5 in normal day to day usuage.

Camera is fine and takes stunning photos, just not good at night, colours seem to be well off, almost yellow. Front facing is pants but what phone isnt?

Super fast, loads games quicker than my S5, enough RAM just low on storage.

Only issue is the lack of storage, everything thing else its a brilliant phone and for the price you cant go wrong.
 
£255 for the 16GB or £269 for the 32GB from Amazon.de
No brainier really

In the UK it's £279.99 & £369... Ridiculous difference

Had mine a month now

Picked it up on a 11.99 a month contract

Lovely phone not that keen on the LG skin. But could always install a custom Rom

Build quality is very good and love the thin bezel

Audio quality and screen seem very decent to me

Had about 15 different phones in the past two years but sticking with this one for a while
