Cool.

Bridge Burning, Rope and White Limo were the only tracks I enjoyed on the last one.

But this will be worth a listen even if they have one lead single even remotely approaching that vibe they achieved on Rope.

I prefered this band when they had more than two approaches to writing songs (driving rocker and ballad) now every album they make sounds the same.

What happened to the colour and the shape foos?

I quite like it, but it does sound like they have taken some of the styles from the music done for the Sound City film and blended them with the stuff from the last few albums.
I guess also, Dave is getting older so a more mellow sound has developed.

They just churn out radio friendly stadium rock nowadays. Same as most bands they found a formula that makes millions and stick with it, cant blame them for that I suppose.

Churned out roughly one decent song per album over the last 10 years, the rest is just the cult of Foo Fighters dross and Dave Grohl seeming like a nice bloke.

Genuine rock legend for his work in Nirvana

3 episodes into this now. It's pretty lame?

The documentary is mildly interesting but the songs are truly terrible.

Something really irks me about Grohl's narration and sentimental nonsense also.

What do you guys think?
