No,you will not notice any difference. Buy a good CPU cooler and overclock your 6300

As in my sig, I run a 6350 and a 280x and I get great FPS on battlefield 4 on ultra.

ive just put a hyper tx3 on it last week so its nice and cool, not even worth geting the 8350 maybe or am i just wasting my time

I'd stick with what you have and then unless AMD releasing something stonking later on, switch to Intel.

Overclock what you have and that will help

hmm 4+1 phase. You could theoretically run it providing the board supports it but overclocking will be limited by the board, usually to 4.2ghz or so.

i have just put a thread in overclooking section i think thats the route im going to go and spend my cash on other areas...

save up for 8320 or wait for something

i have an FX6100 OC 4.47Ghz no point getting the FX6350

i have 150 quid credit in my local suppliers ******** so its not an issue about buying an 8350 ect but do i really need 8 cores as in previous coments and threads or can i clock mine to be enough..

I have just found out tonight mine is clocked goes to 3.968.5mhz so could bump it up some

oh and the 8350 is 50 quid more than the 6350 lol

4ghz is the highest clock speed you can go on stock voltage using the CPB... isnt 3.9Ghz stock turbo ?

well if your happy with the performance and don't want to spend the money stick with what you have but don't go for the 6350

and lots of performance difference between 6350 and 8320 (8350 is overclocked 8320)

At stock 6100 Half load 3.9 ghz, full load 3.6 ghz with excessive v-core and temps.
Turn off that turbo in bios, disable apm and clock this 6100 to 4.3-4.4ghz
