Hi folks,

As title really.

Looking to spend a couple of days in a lodge somewhere in the UK (Lake District, Yorkshire maybe?), but requirements are that we can take our dog, and also that the place has a hot tub for us to chill out and look at the stars.

Just been trawling a few websites and the majority are all pretty crap to navigate and seem dated. However I guess its because they are often independent amateur websites.

Would appreciate anyones experiences or input. Thankyou :)

I've used Forest Holidays a few times and its been great. We go to Cornwall in Deer Park. No phone signal and no internet, just a hot tub, cabin in the woods and a log burner. Great to get away from it all.

Sitting in a hot tub with a glass of wine while it's snowing is pretty cool, until you need to get out :p

Hi guys, Thanks for the input. Some good links given.

I'm not looking at the Forest Holidays ones and the prices seem reasonable for the facilities they seem to provide.

Think Im going to look into their Yorkshire ones. Keldy/Cropton.

I can't imagine anything grosser than a shared hot tub. There'll be loads of barteria. Pubes. Love juice. Grim!

Hot Tubs are like swimming pools. As long as they are maintained and by that I mean correctly chemically dosed and cleaned, then they are fine but smaller amounts of water are harder to keep balanced.

Some of the stuff I use to fish out of the filters in our local leisure centre pools would make you go WTF! :D
