*** The Official Playstation 4 (PS4) Thread ***

Just looked at them on eBay. Interested to know how comfortable they would be.

If you guys add both the xbox one and ps4 versions to basket then look at the pictures you will see the ps4 versions are shorter versus the taller ones of the xbox one.

As for comfort i cant wait as i much prefer a con-caved center rather than the convex of the ps4 ones now.

Gamescom 2014: Sony Releases New Horror Game Teaser, Trademarks "A Million Ways To Die"
Sony has filed a trademark application for a new video game called "A Million Ways To Die." Sony filed the trademark application with the United States Patent & Trademark Office on August 6. The date is notable, because it's just days before Sony's Gamescom briefing tomorrow, August 12.

The trademark filing lists A Million Ways To Die as a video game. The trademark application specifically covers, "Computer game software; Downloadable computer game software via a global computer network and wireless devices; Video game software."
We found the trademark today, on the same day that Sony released a new Gamescom teaser trailer (above) for a mysterious game that claims it will "reinvent" the horror genre. In the atmospheric and creepy trailer, we get a glimpse at someone who appears to be bludgeoning someone else to death, as blood splatters on a window in the foreground.

The only link between the "Million Ways To Die" trademark and this teaser is that they are both operated by Sony and reference dying in some way. The teaser trailer follows another, similar-in-theme teaser from last week that appears to be for the same project.

If Sony is going to announce this new project at Gamescom, we don't have much longer to wait. Sony's briefing is scheduled for tomorrow, August 12, at 10 a.m. PDT. Microsoft and Electronic Arts are also holding presentations. For more on the show, be sure to bookmark GameSpot's special hub dedicated to the show.

Is Until Dawn the first game that is from a third party (Im sure SuperMassive is an indie) but uses a Sony first party engine? Quite surprised to hear that

Just fitted the Xbone thumb sticks to my DS4 and they definitely feel better. The smaller area where your thumb goes means it doesn't slide about as much.

As long as there are no dead spots and dust/things cant get down that little gap when the analogue is moved to the side im sure ill be happy. My estimated delivery were yesterday and they didnt come so i suspect they will arrive today and ill fit them when i get them.

Hmmm while I expect cross-gen for a while longer I was hoping that we were gonna wean ourselves off sooner rather than later. Knowing the next TR is end of next year and is cross-gen seems a longer overlap than I would like, especially with the perpetual rumours of a shorter gen.

Quite worried that the cost of developing games means publishers cant ignore the c. 160m PS360 base even though its likely to be nowhere near that number that would actively buy that PS360 variant. Im sure cross-gen games already out have demonstrated that current-gen sales are strong enough to compare to last-gen sales of the same title - surely we are already near the point where current-gen only (AAA) titles can be profitable?

EDIT: I dont necessarily mean a cross-gen title has to look worse than if it was current-gen only - more that we must be getting to a point where current-gen sales are good enough to support such games so they can make money. Obviously there are savings having to only develop/support a smaller number of platforms too...

Seriously, why is there still no DLNA in 2.0? This is getting stupid now. I could understand it being missing at launch, but a year and many updates later this basic media feature is STILL missing

My thoughts are that Sony just arent looking to replicate the PS3 media features into the PS4 - how they are being marketed is very different...

The reasoning behind that I dont know, nor do I particularly agree with - hopefully having to match features with the moving target that is the XO might make them more willing...

Sony have a separate Tv "system" on the way don't they...thought it was obvious that was the reason.
