Because most sane people know the difference between the sport they compete in/job they do and every day life.
You don't see many soldiers coming home from Afgan and dropping grenades through peoples doors before they go inside.

In all seriousness, any man who beats a woman like that deserves to be strung up. There is no way he could have known she'd survive from that beating.

I don't believe that it was just a throwaway comment. It sounded more like you were making a judgement regarding her lifestyle and belittling a very serious assault.

Domestic violence in all its form is disgusting and abhorrent and so often goes un-notice or unreported. People have questioned why this is 'news' or why it deserves coverage and the sad truth is that people only really take notice of things like this when there is a celebrity involved.

It's irrelevant on how she makes a living surely no person deserves to be treated like this ?
 
What a sick and disghusting thing to do. I hope he gets many years for this and gets raped himself in prison. Okay maybe i am being a little harsh on that last part but the man seriously needs help or he will just reoffend.
