MotoGP 2014 Season

Problem with Brands is that I think it won't come up to the MotoGP safety standards.

I know they have BSB there and used to run WSB, but the sections of track out into the woods have very little in the way of run-off before you get to the barriers. Think from memory that the trees behind the barriers are protected so they can't make improvements they'd like to do.

Dorna has the problem that it's in their agreement with BT sports to have UK round in 2015 so they can't skip a year waiting for the COW to be built, though this seems far from certain.

Donington has been suggested as an alternative, the track itself has a lot going for it but seeing TV shots from WSB this year the infield areas look like an absolute dump - the place is still showing many scars from the F1 debacle :(

I remember back in the WSBK days that they always commented on it being short... completely forgot about the lack of run offs... such a shame I would've loved to see Rossi, Marquez, and the rest battle it out around the woods... and the scream of them all thundering.......

Because that way they wont get arsey neighbours moaning about noise and plenty of space for building decent roads to the track and parking spaces, unlike every other track where is an absolute ball ache to get to because you have to go near populated towns and some have awful roads, if they do it properly it will be brilliant!
One of the problems with Anglesey is the roads getting to it, its constantly trying to get bigger international races there but the access roads let it down, and previously lack of pits.

It looks to be an epic track, I know they did an awesome job with the Anglesey circuit so I am looking forward to having another track in Wales, and this one is closer for me to get to :D, but I do have the advantage of family on Anglesey.

Have you been to Silverstone recently? Ok it has the village near by but the roads and access in and out are now very good. Its got easy access to the M1 and M40 which means that its easy for a very large % of the population to get to, it also has multiple airports with about an hour.

This new circuit in Wales has no roads to it of any decent quality, Have they budgeted to run dual carriage way from the M4/5 to the circuit for easy access? Where the airports for international visitors?

Great idea...stupid place
