Yeah, it was smugging them up sat on our barbecue. It was an horrific experience to be honest as it was a neighbours, but to be fair to the dogs the cat was taunting them on their turf. (to be fair to the cat I don't think they needed a reason)

I'm an animal lover so love both.

However I own cats and wouldn't want to own a dog because of the hassle that comes with it. For example...

* Having to walk them (cats walk themselves)
* The undignified act of having to pick up their poop in public (cats bury theirs)
* They make your house smell of dog (cats don't unless you have an indoor cat with a litter tray)

No, they're here with me now. I am not sure it is encouraged but within the law a dog can kill a cat in its own garden, if it wishes. If it goes into the cats garden for a ruck, it is on thin ice.

I have one (maybe two) around me and they seem to love my rose bush!

Objectively my dogs are better than cats because they killed one. They were much better than it sadly.

My cat IS a dog. It follows me everywhere, sits outside the office at work meowing until I go and either pet him or throw him back over the fence to my parents' garden, attacks the other neighbours dogs on a semi-regular basis, tries to drink from the toilet and growls if you go near his food when he's eating.
