Hi guys
I recently changed the tubing and noticed green marks on the inside of the tubing. The coolant I'm using is uv green swiftech hydx pm premix with anti algae so is it just the dye or am I needing to flush it all out?

when changing tubing, you should have flushed out the system, the green marks is probably the dye from the radiators and waterblocks dislodging due to the new clean liquid, that was unoticeable on the older tubing.

Thanks for that any recommendations on what's best as I have a litre of mayhems pure h20 could I flush it with that or am I better with de ionised water and some kind of additives

There are different ways to do it, its just like you flush the radiators when you first get them, some people use mayhams to clean perfectly but there are a few different ways a easy google search will bring up the multiple ways of doing it, one of which is using de-ionised water.

If wanting to not spend money you could try this for your radiators:

1. Flush water through the radiator for 10-15min. I would suggest connecting the radiator to a household tap or showerhead via hose so you can get a reasonable flow of water through the radiator.

2. Connect the hose to the opposite radiator outlet and reverse flush the radiator for another 10-15min.

3. Three-quarters fill the radiator with hot (~ 50ºC) water and give it a vigorous shaking, then drain the radiator.

4. Completely fill the radiator with a mild acidic solution -- diluted white vinegar works well, and leave for 45-60min.

6. Rinse out with de-ionized/distilled water or whatever coolant you plan on using x2

Edit 7. Step, After rinsing out check the PH Level on the Liquid after you rinsed the second time to make sure its not acidic anymore and is as close to natural you can get it

i havent tried this, like i said personally i use the mayhams kit, but this is how a couple of my friends flush their radiators.

Hi mine is the swiftech h320 so did not need to flush it originally but I should now since I've changed the tubing twice

Thanks for that information :)

Too pricey LOL I bought a bottle of SysClean-HPD and 5L of de-ionised water Im sure that will do the trick I will then use EK-EKoolants UV Green :)

Those kits are not just one use, the fluids are concentrates that can be diluted to meet need and then saved for later flushes :)
