Today is the day I lost respect for the British police

So the thinking here is men are guilt, no matter what when it comes to harassment.

Mostly the thinking is that you and her would have a much better time if you (and possibly her, but definitely you) just got over it.

Just man up and own it. Stop being a victim and get on with your life.

Last week I was issued a pin notice by the police, regarding harassment, x said I was harassing her, today I found out that the the allegation was based on calls suspected to be made by myself she thought it was me making the calls, yet there is no proof that I made them. Seems like democracy has been thrown out of the window in this country.

If you were in the USA, you'd be having a ******* sandwich right now.
********
So think about that and be glad. Or perhaps not.. ;)

I'm ive been dating other women, not interested in her, yet she seems to pop up. Now i'm worried if she makes another allegation, I could be arrested.

I'm more interested in the info you're withholding than the info you've shared. This whole thread stinks of abuse.

For support call 0800-OSCARPISTORIUS.

She sexually assaulted me in a club, by coming up to me and kissing me, which I did not want.

Which begs the questions, if that's how you feel then why did you not inform the police of this alleged 'sexual assault' and then why did you accept the PIN rather than refusing it? If I knew I were innocent of any malicious calls or behaviour then there's not chance in hell I'd be accepting anything like that from the police.

That's not anything to do with democracy...

Hah. That's what I was thinking.

OP - if the police were supposed to get around, take a vote on whether or not stuff happens to you, but instead the head guy decided to just take action instead, then maybe it would be something to do with democracy :p

Harassment notices do not in any way indicate the recipient is guilty. A complaint was received by your ex regarding alleged harassment and you were issued with a PIN as a result - police information notice - not a caution or conviction.

If you aren't happy about it then there is a complaints procedure in place.

its stays on your record and come up when you do a ecrb.

No, a PIN will not come up on any DBS check.

The purpose of a PIN is not to assign guilt or anything like that, but to make sure that a particular person knows their actions may amount to harassment and that they should cease contact. The offence of harassment has a stipulation that a person knows or should know that their actions amount to harassment. The issuing of a PIN means that this defence of "I didn't know my constant text messaging amounted to harassment" is prevented.

The fact that you got one is pretty irrelevant as long as you don't continue to contact your ex.
