I doubt it's been omitted on purpose, it's pretty obvious it's going to be a TN panel if it has gsync. No IPS or VA gsync panels have been announced yet.

I posted a vid review i found online of it a few pages back, no one replied to it tho probs cos it was in Chinese lol but u can get a lot out of the vid actually.

A few questions:

If I shipped this monitor to the USA, will it work? Will I need to adjust the voltage and/or buy a new power cord?

If something goes wrong, will AOC US honor my warranty or will I have to ship it all the back to AOC EU?

What's the deal with VAC? If I am from the US and shipping to the US, do I have to pay it?

Does anyone have any idea when this monitor will be released in the US?

Thanks all for the help

Monitor was delivered. I'm pretty happy with it, no dead pixels. There is a scratch on the inside of the bezel that's slightly annoying.

Gsync seems to be pretty good so far, need to play with it a bit more though.

If anyone has any questions or wants a pic of anything just shout.

Hel1011: it comes with an external 100-240v power brick, you can just swap out the uk power cord section.

Don't want to derail the thread but it is nice to see a American not getting something for once! Normally it is us that doesn't get the goodies :)

As per post above it will accept 110-250v input but its a bit hit and miss if there is anything other than the UK part of the power lead in the box - should be a standard "kettle" (IEC C14) type plug on the transformer but AOC have a bad habit of randomly using IEC C6 plugs too so you might want to double check that before buying a lead if you don't have a spare of the kettle style lead when the panel turns up.

Have no idea on the warranty side but companies in general usually won't make it easy even if they will eventually honour it in another region - most of the stock of that type that goes through where I work tends to either have "Warranty only valid in US and Canada" or the opposite "Warranty valid in all regions except US and Canada" stamped on it and from experience it is hit and miss if you can get them to deal with it out of region.

VAT wise you would need to provide proof you were from outside the EU in which case the retailer shouldn't charge VAT but you may be charged for relevant import duties (on your end) depending on several factors.

It's C14.
