is Festival time in Edinburgh so here are a couple of images to reflect this time of year.
The first one is of a guy creating a sand sculpture on the main shopping thoroughfare in Edinburgh Princes Street. My question how did he get the sand here?
A short distance away Edinburgh council cleansing department at its best. A sealed waste bin piled with rubbish. This is just at the corner of Hunter square. I did moan to the council and my local paper who did email me back saying it was interested in the story but I think it was superseded by a missing cat. In the councils defence they have now replaced the sealed bin with a much larger receptacle, I think someone might have mentioned that we do get one of two extra folk a visiting whilst this festival was on and this type of sight to greet them did not really give a good impression.
Finally if you are going to be borne to your last resting place this is as good as it gets. Sorry for the finger in this pic it was my first time use of the camera in my new Moto G LTE.

Take it as a compliment.
