*** The Official Playstation 4 (PS4) Thread ***

I agree, it could be done better for those of you that keep all your games installed..

I personally delete all the games I don't play, so I don't have a huge line of icons to scroll through.

I've had Strider installed since they added it to PSN+, only now have I finally got around to trying it and realised its been made in the Metroid / Castlevania mould, completely hooked now.

Was at a point where I didn't have anything I was bothered about playing prior to Diablo 3, shows I don't pay enough attention as Wolfenstein, Fez and now Strider have had me absolutely glued to the PS4.

Whats the templates you are talking about? The tiles?
IMO the Xbox One dash is miles ahead of the PS4 dash. One press of the left bumper and there I have upto 24 game tiles I can choose from.

PS4 has one long horizontal row with no sorting/filter options.

Just my opinion of course.
And what about when you want to access all the rest of the stuff hidden away from the main screen? Talk about slow and 'clunky', it's nowhere near as slick or smooth as the PS4 for accessing further options.

The horizontal games on PS4 will be fixed sooner or later with a simple drop down menu just like tv / video one is right now.

You pin what you want quick access to the left. That's what I've done and I hardly ever need to delve down into the menus now.

Not sure what you think is quicker to access on ps4. In all honesty they're about the same.

Yep. If anything its easier on the one as its all on one screen on the left. With loads of games installed on PS4 you need to scroll all the way along. Neither is bad though really is it

Exactly

Anyone know if it is possible to block friends invite. Seriously my sister plays LBP2 on PS3 and I get invites on my PS4 all the times.

I think if you go to your profile... and privacy settings, I think there is an option there about who can send friend requests?

Can anyone recommend a decent headset, that provides both game sound and voice chat? Not looking to spend a fortune though.

Moving my PS4 downstairs to the living room to use it a bit more, so need the game sound through a headset so I dont wake the mrs :)

Pre ordered the walking dead from amazon. It was only £21.00 and could be fun to play with the girlfriend. Anybody played it before on other platforms? Also tempted by Diabolo 3 as well. Never got a chance to get involved when released on PC. I have Destiny and Fifa coming up as well though. So many games!

I prefer to keep things minimal without a million pins all over the home screen.

As above

Like what?
Like everything that has to be pinned because finding it is a slow process if not.

At the end of the day I just think the X1 homescreen full of tiles is just plain ugly, simple as that.

I can't wait for Diablo 3. I enjoyed it in 4 player co op and I'm looking forward to go through it again. It should keep me occupied until Destiny!
