** SHIELD TABLETS NOW AVAILABLE & BUNDLES FROM OcUK!! **

How would Origin games work? And also standalone games that don't use either, for example I have the Command & Conquer Ultimate Edition which uses neither. Would I have to add them to my Steam library for Shield to be able to Game stream it?

Also I've been watching a load of reviews and an hour Vodcast talking all about The Shield tablet.

They touch on Game Streaming which I know a fair bit about but then they also say a lot about Nvidia Grid but no details on it.

I know Grid is about cloud computing but how does it work with Shield?

I'm surprised this thread isn't more buzzing about this device. I suppose it will pick up in the next couple of months when this thing has rolled out.

Just back from Vegas with mines...quickly updated and had a quick run of Bioshock Infinite there and my God am I impressed :D

Love this thing, not only is it a superb tablet for general use, as a streaming device for games it is soooooo seamless :) Plus the added touch of media sharing and use through console mode on my TV and this is worth the admission fee alone!

Plus I am looking forward to playing full games like HL2/Portal/Trine 2 etc on a Plane or a long haul travel with no WiFi :)

Would probably use this as more of a media consumption device and the gaming just comes as a bonus.

Apparently there is one...not that I've experienced :)

Still loving mines and using it just about every day, gets better by the update and performance is improving all the time.

What do you use it for, if you don't mind me asking. Mainly for gaming on the big screen?

Cracking problem?

It was mentioned in this thread, but its been sorted now.
This will be getting lollipop very soon.

I'm considering this as the Nexus 9 price seems a bit tad high. How is the screen? I remember checking the Tegra Note 7 and that was awful, is the Shield much better?

And is it too early to ask if Nvidia has a Denver version of this coming soon :p?
