To explain, the majority of posters on this forum wouldn't know that 1000s & 1000s of men (women if the men were out) would sit down at around 5pm filling a Pools coupon in and you would always know if it was going to be a high, low or the same score by the tone of his voice.

A familiar voice on a Saturday afternoon. My parents were traditionalists.. Sausage, egg and chips every Saturday as the results came in.
