US: True Blood - Season 7 (FINAL)

It's basically turned into Home and Away but with supernatural elements.

Eric & Pam are both badasses so can't see why the Yakuza are now the 'big bad' after all the stuff they've dealt with in the past.

Hoyt and Jessica getting together was ok in my book. Hoyt killing Violet was not.

Bill is just a douche.

Sam has been a periphiral figure for a while now so not fussed he's gone.

Tara story has just been stupid.

I actually like the character of Jason and hope they give him something awesome in the last episode.

Sarah Newlin is so underused it's criminal.

Ginger is ace as always.

Sookie.... Oh Sookie, how I hate you.

So yeah, all in all, quite a rubbish season compared to what has been before.

Eric arriving at the bar and screaming at Ginger was brilliant. Then the throne scene, lols.

I too wondered why super Eric didn't just fly round the room, removing heads and save Pam. As mentioned by someone he managed it whilst half dead afterall :/

Jason is quite possibly the best long term character in the show, and the one who's shown the most character growth.

This weeks episode was stolen by 2 scenes.. The scene with Jason and Bridget in the Police car when he was looking her up and down (The bit in bed was good too) and the scene with Eric and Ginger was fantastically funny.. :D

Well that was tedious. Such a shame considering how good True Blood was for at least half it's run and I'm glad it's finally over as I wouldn't have watched another season.

Ending was dreadful. They wasted a whole episode on Jessica's wedding, why!? By the end I didn't really care if Bill lived or died he'd become a boring character.

In the grand scheme of things it's not as bad as Dexter as I feel Dexter was all about the long term story of his life and they botched the ending. True Blood was much more about a host of characters having fun with deliberately outrageous story lines that pushed the boundaries of acceptability.

I don't think it ruined the preceding six seasons that number seven was weak, it's just a bit surprising and disappointing they didn't have any shocking moments in the finale.

Thanks F it's over!

Said it before season 1 was great but got more crap each season after that.

Wonder how they did not show who was with Sookie (babies father) at end.

It SUCKED! haha!

But in all serious.. It did.. It was pretty terrible end to a show that had great potential in being a modern horror/monster tv show that turned out to be a lot more like The Vampire Diaries that it would like to think. I also really didnt care what happened in the end and what did looked like something out of the Waltons. There wasnt even any words of wisdom from Lafayette who started out as being overly camp to a very very good character.

Disappointing but as others have said, it was on the cards from a couple of series ago.

Disappointing finale indeed. Did not care for Hoyt coming back and getting married and it took up too much time doing so.

Eric driving the Yakuzas car was great though, with his head bopping.

I actually was very happy when Hoyt came back as i thought that he bought a very good element of trying to get on with life even with the other stuff happening all around him. The scene was heartbreaking when he asked Jessica to glamour him to make him forget her and Jason.

Eric in the Yakuzas car was funny and had me laughing. And the bit at the end.. Oh and the over due comeuppance for a certain person. ;)

Totally thought Sookies "light" would turn Bill human since she could hear his thoughts.
