£350 is what you would pay for a low spec PC anyway, and come on now, the spec aint THAT low.

Empty promises? have you not seen the constant flow of updates coming? new features and additions? The freeview dongle coming out for it, plus integrated new features.

It's a fantastic machine and I'm more than happy I purchased it, just being able to relax on the sofa or in bed and have a constant loads of media in front of me, being able to snap out of games and launching other apps is superb, games also look fantastic, plus all the upcoming titles.

There is no need for an excuse to buy one, I just got Diablo 3 today, another fantastic title! the price is justified for what you get imo, GET ONE!
 
I'm in the same boat, haven't gotten around to picking up a new console, really because there isn't anything which massively interests me in it.

My 360 is gathering dust, even more so since Sky stopped the SkyGo for none extra subscribers.

Once something which is out really interests me I'll think about it, I'm still very underwhelmed by this gen.

I decided to go this route although the lineup for the ps4 may be very strong soon, the e3 lineup was sensational.

The ps4 is a one game system at the moment, I need more reason to buy one other than the last of us.

I thought the wii u would not offer anything I wanted to play but I was wrong about that.
 
Will be getting a PS4 if PES2015 turns out to be as good as people are predicting it to be based on current plays. Won't be until its been out for a couple of weeks though after last years experience, in order to get proper reviews.

A FREEVIEW DONGLE!!!! i guess i better eat my words :D
i can sit on my sofa too and enjoy loads of media too(smart tv with freeview HD with blueray,now tv,pc,x360,sky ect. all connected to it)
i know a bunch of people that made the jump from 360 to ps4 and guess what they are heading to xbone cause sony still havn`t mastered the online side of things but at the same time i know some guy who has to be one of the biggest xbox fan boys who waxes lyrical about xbone.
guess what he`s on his x360 everyday LOL
i`m not some fanboy i`m just a gaming whore and to be fair this gen is very disappointing.

You know what I mean though, don't even need to change inputs for anything, it's all in one, TV, gaming, media etc.

I thought the exact same thing until I brought one, now I couldn't be happier, so easy to just turn it on and jump straight into a game with others etc, no messing about on a PC, graphics are great, it just "works"

So many upcoming releases as well before christmas :)
 
hey deltalinx just ignore me,i`m miserable old ******* :D
i`m a proper old skool hardcore gamer who would love to see games consoles go back to just that.none of these bells and whistles that they now come with.
if you strip away all that stuff it would free up a fair bit of resources to improve the games further ;)
i can see the appeal of an all in one box but when you get old like me you have all the other stuff already LOL
another thing for me is with previous gens the jumps have been huge and this time around it`s pretty small.
i shall probably grab one in the future when the prices tumble :D also there should be a good selection of titles too ;)
 
Destiny has pushed me over the edge so I am waiting on my PS4 being delivered now! I am keeping my ps3 on though, I have too many single player games to complete and ps+ has been kind to me over the years! For what I would get on trade it, it isn't really worth getting rid!
 
Im working my way through the batman games, and I still have ff10 HD, all of FF13, all of mass effect and some other bits and bobs to play
