Hey,

I have £2000 to spend and £2400 if it's worth it to get a 4k monitor.

Basically I want all of this to fit into a prodigy micro atx case.

I would like a 780 or a 780ti gtx nvidia

I would like a decent aoc screen for first person shooters mainly

I would like the system to be mega quite and have cool fan lighting.

Is this possible as it has to be all inside a prodigy matx

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Cheers,
Lewis

Haven't gone for the i7 as I don't think you'll need it. 8 G memory. 1 T SSD should be plenty of (fast!) storage. The prodigy comes in several colours so choose the one you like best. The monitor stood out to me as it has G-sync which you might like as you're going Nvidia. 140mm heatsink should fit neatly in the back of the case. For 4K you might want a GPU with more memory though...

As much as you have your heart set on the Prodigy mATX, it kind of sucks as far as mATX cases go... The internal layout and airflow design is quite cramped and not ideal.

For 4K it'd be better to go with something like two R9 290s in crossfire...

i would personally say dont go for the bitfenix not the best case around, heres what i put together.

i7 4770S

Also the Titan Black is a huge waste of money for a gaming pc. You will get the same performance with a 780 ti. You will also need at least 2 gpu's to get decent framerates.

I think lee32uk included the S variant because it's low power, and the OP wants a quiet system in a small enclosure, so a few watts less heat is welcome.

And the Black I think is there because of the 6 gigs of memory. For example both BF4 and Crysis 3 go over 3 GB at 4 K which only really leaves the R9 290 and Titans. But as you say you really want two of them whatever you go for to get over 30 FPS.

It is pretty pointless putting that cpu in a Z97 board. An i7 4790K will be fine with a good cooler on it (Noctua NH-D15 for example)

The 780 ti holds it's own at 4K.

If you're mainly playing FPS then you might be better going for a 144hz screen and upgrading to 4k later when the screens are more mature and the GPUs are more capable of handling it. At the moment you'd have trouble keeping 60 FPS, especially sine mATX limits your SLI options a bit. You'd save a bunch of cash too.

I totally agree with this.

4k is too 'new'.

Get a decent 144hz/1440p screen and a single 780ti/4790k system..

Simple.
