So I'm a bit of an idiot and left my MacBook Air charger at my buddies house a few days ago and he's now out of the country on business for a week.

:embarrassedsmiley:

Anyone got any good ideas of where I can perhaps nab some charge to tide me over so I don't have to spend £65 on a new one?

It's the older l shaped connected like in this pic

I'd suggest an Apple Store is probably your best and most obvious port of call.

I can't really think where else you could even try, there may be other shops with your model of charger supplying power to a display model, but chances are they aren't going to be very receptive of you plugging in and hanging around.

The Apple Store model on the contrary is based on people coming in for talks, demonstrations, to sit and browse etc.

Where are you? If you can hold off till Tuesday, and nip down to Vauxhall i'll charge it for you :p

That's very kind of you, all sorted now! :)

I went an bought one from the Apple store which I'll return, didn't even think of that.

At first I felt kind of bad doing it, then I remembered how much money I've paid them over the last 5 years over the course of a couple of phones and a laptop and the guilt went away pretty quick :p
