Congrats. I wouldn't be surprised if it arrives on the 9th, I think ebay sellers generally put conservative delivery estimates on just to cover themselves if it takes longer than expected. Still that's a good price so a few potential extra days after release won't hurt, unless you're like me

Yeah that was what I thought... Originally I saw it in Argos and it was £390 and I nearly cried, I then started looking around and was torn between the black one on Shopto and the white one on Game then the ebay one was linked and for £30 cheaper again it was a done deal.
it is my other halves birthday on the Monday and got stuff planned nearly every night that week so not getting to play that week is entirely a possibility anyway lol.
I believe you do for the Ps4 where as you didn't on the ps3.
PS+ is still an optional subscription but you do now require it for online play whereas you didn't for PS3. If you don't have it you can still play single player games (not much use for Destiny lol). It's great value though, well worth the sub and 2 free games every month which are yours for as long as you subscribe.

I got the game deal but with 2% cashback, £10 free game credit as well as £7 worth of points for the purchase I'm actually not much worse off than you are. I was quite lucky with my timing as I managed to get higher than normal cashback and there was a £10 free game credit promotion running at the time for PS4+Destiny sales. I doubt I will be able to find a bargain with all of my game credit so I might just blow it all on 12 months of PS+ subscription.
I guess it is, but when Microsoft got away with it for ages with xbox live I guess Sony thought they may as well do the same thing and I can't blame them. With the free games every month(PS4 and Vita) I know I will be getting my moneys worth.
I think part of it was to force Publishers to stop charging users to play second hand games online as well. Sony have taken the stance of if you pay for a sub with us you can play all of our games online instead of having to pay additional costs if you buy a second hand game.
Maintenance that was delayed from Monday.
