What do you guys think? Although an attack isn't imminent, it does perhaps suggest something new has been uncovered/tipped off with regards to our own country.

I don't know about anyone else but I certainly feel some sort of built up tension. Something of significant consequence is going to happen soon, I think.

The threat level doesn't worry me, it wouldn't surprise me if there's another attack on home soil soon though with everything that's going on.

I don't see the point of this. If there's some evidence of an imminent terrorist threat then err, just arrest the suspects and carry on. What am I supposed to do as a result of raising this threat level? If I change my behaviour in any way as a result then haven't like the terrorists won?

P.S. in before allegations of a "false flag" attack crop up.

doesnt sound like its because of a particular threat, more just that with UK nationals travelling to Syria / Iraq to fight that we should be more careful about when / if they come back

these threat levels are more aimed at Govt police and military facilites and the level of security precautions on the gates

Just lol worthy.
You asked opinion, you got an opinion, few people will care about the terrorist warning, that nobody ever looks at. Or do you check it daily just in case?

Oh shut up, your first post in the thread was enough. Just go browse other threads or something. Why waste your time here ?

The Islamic State will be the ones to blame.

Basically this... we'll be getting a few hundred or so returning jihadis, some of whom are also keen on carrying out attacks here. Then again unless you fancy going for a jog through Tower Hamlets wrapped up in an Israeli flag the actual danger to the average person living here is still seemingly rather low.

Haha, I contributed an opinion, an opinion more than likely helfpd by a massive percentage of the public. You've said nothing.

So do you care? Let me guess no. Is it going to change how you behave day to day? No.
