Evga 4gb classified vs gainward 2gb gtx680? Same scores

So these sit around my budget for the gpu side of things.

So see the gainward and then spot a evga card

One has 2gb and one has 4gb.
Of course the latter is more money

But gpu boss have them scoring at level pegging

Evga being £60 more? Why?

Also is there anything better on a £200 approx budget there?
That or a r9 280x 3gb. Sits ever so slighty lower on some scores and fps but above on 3dmark and a few fps test

Memory count alone won't increase frame rates (unless the lower vram card is running out of course).

Personally I'd go for the 280x.

This imo at that price point the 280x is the best buy

Just wait a few weeks.New cards are coming. I certainly wouldn't be even entertaining the idea of buying a new graphics card at this point. Your £200 budget might get you a lot more by the end of the month..

Ok ill hold out as people sell up

That or stretch to a r9 290x. As really there only 40/50 more and miles ahead of th4 280

May well just wait then

But it just suprises me. And learnt that the gb of the card isnt every thing as i first thought was

Vram isnt everything - not having enough is.

But wait for Maxwell or considering Hawaii. Generally the extra Vram cards from nvidia arent worth it compared to AMD.
