Fake Nvidia GPU’s flogged in Germany

nope they changed the bios to look like 660, so not sure if the core details would be changed to.

i would bench & see how far you are off another ones 660

Cheers. It's a MSI Twin Frozr OC, so not the brand that's been counterfeit according to the article.

Will double check when I get my hands on it.

I'm going to grab a heap of 5450's and bios mod them to 390X's and sell them for a fortune, who's in???

Much safer bet, if you went green you would be up against some real pros in the NVidia market team.

You will never top this

Just got mine and have tested. Unigine 4.0 Benchmark scores 626 and GPU-z shows the core clock maxing out at 1123Mhz.

Probably safe to say this one is genuine... Phew!

It said they were Fermi cards, so they could be GTX-470s or something. The boards would be approximately the right length and bulk.

I believe they were 440s. Apparently the GPU bios showed 660 but if you ran GPUz it brings up the real details of the card/specs/speeds/memory etc
