The Mondeo has gone. Long live the...

Looks to fit your brief pretty well. Nice find! :)

Are the seats part leather, part alcantara/suede?

I like these. Theres a similar looking car near me but it seems to have a bit less chrome on it, and darker headlights, would these be part of the facelift changes or has someone modified it?

Wow. Haven't paid much attention to Fords since I had my xr2, but that car looks lovely.

Cooled seats you say? I want them!

The facelift is noticeable because of the rear lights, instead of being - - they are ^ ^.

I have a 10 plate titanium, that's a tidy motor for a good price to be quite honest! I love mine, despite not being as generous as yours!

Nice looking car that - Wish I had all that kit -

I have a 60 reg Focus Titanium with sports pack and almost same wheels - They are easy to clean - just get long thin brush to go in small holes on rims

-- I also like the Powershift - very smooth although like others it hesitates when coming to island then booting it.

Best thing and even wife agrees is key less entry - also have you found global windows - press unlock and hold down and all windows open - press lock to close.

Nice nice motor.

Great choice Howard. Suitable replacement for the ST220 as there are not many mondeos on the road that look as good as that.Looks really nice and in the best colour to!
We'll done for not going down the boring German rep mobile route.

How much did u get for your St220? It looked a great example that one u had?

I am selling it to a friend for £2,250. A fair price for both parties I feel.

Looks very tidy :) a friend has one and I was extremely impressed at how refined it felt inside, very insulated and quiet as you said.

Hope it serves you well and look forward to seeing it.

Very jealous!

Been looking for one of these myself but they all seem to be 300+ miles away in the South of England :(

Nearest one to me looks really good but lacks the sat nav which makes it look like arse inside :(

That's one stunning car!
So the newer revision with 240 horses, is that same engine and turbo as yours with just higher state of tune or is there other differences?

Cheers! As far as I can tell that's the case, yes. But I'm going to be making doubly sure I know all the facts and that a remap won't affect the life of the box or engine components before I go ahead.

The box is rated for 450nm of torque anyway where the remap only takes the peak up to ~370 (and around 260bhp) so should be fine.

Very nice looking car, can't stand the glossy interior trim though, would drive me mad with fingerprints and reflections.

Looks very nice Howards! :) Has something of the old Mk.2 RSAP about it...
Adaptive Bi-Xenons are even better. Got them on my S3 and on an unlit country road they're bloody brilliant.
I'd actually go so far as to say adaptive headlights are mostly pointless? They are cool at first and a bit "oh wow, amazing", but I've never really found a fraction of a second light advantage on winding unlit country roads that useful.
