Anyone on here know of a firm that will manufacture a plastic box to a specific size?

Or... Do we have a forum member that has a 3d printer and offers up a service of printing and posting for a fee?

Cheers

Would need some more details about what you are after really, i cant imagine that 3d printing would be the way to go for a box unless it is very small or very complex.

I was really only looking for a plastic/perspex box about 130 x 130 x 260. Its going to house some PCB/ectronic Gubbins. It doesn't need to have all the holes as that is something I can add in, though if it is 3d printed I could put all them into the cad drawing.

Having both a 3d printer and a laser cutter, id recommend making it from laser cut acrylic, it will be cheaper, easier and more accurate than 3d printing at those sizes.

What is the box for? is it for letters ?

Is that fairly strong material then? Would you do it from a cad drawing? How much do you want?

3d printing will be very expensive and tend to have a 'grain' of weakness.

if your thinking acrylic i'd just buy some sheets and cut them yourself. if you really need uber accuracy then a laser cutter is an option too.
