Has anyone got any experience of the in flight entertainment system for transaero? Wondering if I should fill my tablet or if it's OK.

Cheers!

I would always load my tablet. In flight entertainment is becoming a throwback from the past. 2 pronged headphones for £4.95? I think not!

What airline have you been flying with?

I've just gotten back from Oz with Singapore Airlines. Used my tablet on the smaller flight as the screens were quite small, then used the in flight the rest of the way on the wider screened 777. Content was brilliant, new movies and TV shows. Used my own headphones but they obviously gave them out free. Using a tablet tends to just give me a sore neck!

I fly to Europe a couple of times a year, and maybe a long haul to USA once a year. I load my tablet with TV series, movies, books and even games. I just don't see the point in relying on random airline content when I can choose exactly what I want.

Obviously if it's hurting your neck then fair enough, but I don't get that. I also fly as part of my job, but only 40 minute flights so entertainment isn't relevant as such, but I have been known to watch a half hour episode of something on my phone.
