What is Fleet, Hampshire like?

Whitchurch was ok when we lived there, and it's on a main line for LDN, takes about 45 minutes iirc.

the road between fleet and yateley is pretty good for trying out your cars handling, we call that road 'the fleet bends' :)

Overton is alright, a few new houses going up there recently gone up and in the next couple of years. Few good shops and also on the main line to London.

Could always try Andover...

...phahahahahaha!

I agree just not so pleasent in the wet in mine =p

I don't personally live in Fleet, but know people who do and they all say it is a reasonably nice place to live, they only downside they have i the town centre but they tend to go to Camberly/Aldershot if they want town shopping.

Also wouldn't consider Farnborough tbh as the houses near the station all seem to look quite pokey. Although if you willing to walk further/cycle to the station some of the other parts of Farnborough are quite nice.

I must have somehow missed these nice places during the year I spent in Farnborough :p Though I really disliked Fleet. Seemed utterly soulless, empty and dead.
