Tony Blair was last night improbably named philanthropist of the year by a leading magazine

Tony Blair is a tool. I would like to be more precise but this is a family friendly forum so I can't swear.
 
Really? Did they scrap the bottom of the barrel for people donating their vast sums to help good causes, only to find TB at the end of the scrub?
 
I wonder how much of his own money he's spent on this self gratification.

In 100 years when we're all dead he will be known historically as a great man, he did what he was told whilst in power and will be richly rewarded.
 
Don't see the problem TBH, I mean every year the Nobel prize goes to some bloke we have never heard off and we're all fine with it, yet this award goes to somebody who we used to read about in newspapers owned by somebody who hated him (Murdoch) and we're up in arms, despite having no idea what he's been doing for the past seven years lol.
