What's the chances of the Devil13 at £700 or less? of course Powercolor would never do that so i shouldn't have really bothered posting here at all :cool:

Your not gonna get a price drop and free stuff too, be realistic. Price drop and no free stuff or free stuff remains and price does not move.

I meant adding free stuff if u couldn't drop to the lower price i.e. some people say "cant manage that price but how about £x & a free xxx to sweeeten the deal" whatever's easiest for u dude :). I'd take the lowest price possible without free stuff. X

Its not "significantly" cheaper at all ~£40 according to OcUK prices for some cards.

I doubt its that much faster either but if Lt Matt appears and says otherwise I will take his view as Im sure he has tested beyond most.

Its also the case that by the time this offer appears it wont be that long until AMD's new single card will be appearing, which should make 290x's cheaper still.
 
Only graphics cards I have bought from new is a 7800gtx 256mb which was 349 and a 4870x2 which was 320? I think. And a 7950 which was 240 if I remember correctly. I can't understand why the prices are so high for 290s. Nvidia have always been more expensive. But for me, a 290x price I'd pay 275 for and I'd pay 500 tops for the 295x2 but considering they cost a grand anything a few hundred pound cheaper is fantastic news! :)
 
I have two 7970s. Would this be worth the pop for me? I was gonna wait for Nvidia new cards but I can't see them having anything worth this sort of price range...
 
I play a LOT of Skyrim at 1440p. Obviously with that modded it can start to chug. Additionally Watch Dogs runs like a...well dog for me.

I'm torn because I feel like I should wait and Nvidias new Titan is interesting, but the price could be so good and I have the itch.
 
can anyone tell me if there would be issues with the new parvium 2.0 case and fitting water cooled 295x2 in it ?

mates ordered his turns up today he just needs new gpus. double front rad.
 
I've decided I should get one of these as I'm in need of 4gb Vram from 4k. the announced specs for some games at 4k now need more than 3gb. Nothing now needs more than 3gb though except watchdogs.
 
I remember the 7990 drops last year. Just before bitmining raised second hand prices.
I managed to buy two brand new sapphire 7990's for £430 each from a competitor.
suffice to say I no longer own them.
I would be tempted to buy a 295x2 at 600.
One thing putting me off is that, as far as I am aware, the 295x2 is not capable of dealing with hdmi 2.0 output in 4K in order to produce 60fps.

My Sony 4K is begging for this day to happen! 30fps sucks.
