OcUK just hit the lowest price point on every NVIDIA GPU in the UK!

Indeed, nice 780 prices. Should have waited as price drops on theese were inevitable. I did pay less for the two in sig. But a reference card may have been a wiser move as opposed to x2 wf models.

Reference design coolers are better for SLI :)

asked for a deal to get two EVGA titan blacks AS YOU GUYS have put the price up on them from like a week ago no joy, have £1430 on Friday but £10 off each card wasn't happening so im searching else where :) funny tho the other makes which wont allow me to remove the cooler for water cooling are still £699 each :)

Yep, though temps arent too bad with the wf 780's compared to a pair of wf 460's i had in a tighter spaced board than the one in sig. 79 and 63c max when gaming on the pair in sig.

Nice pricing, but I have been holding out for weeks in the hope that the 780 Poseidon may go on offer so I'm gonna carry on waiting for that lol.

Having said that though £308 for the KFA card and water blocking it myself is pretty tempting...

Will the 780 at £300 be going back up to £308 and when?

Also would it be covered by warranty if put underwater?

Going by the people who have used the new 900 series i.e certain OCUK staff and a few other peeps from different companies who said "Don't expect a big performance boost from the 700 series" I think I shall get another 780 Ti for SLI and wait for what ever comes out after the 900 series :)

Are we still not cheapest on those EVGA cards?

Still waiting for the EVGA GTX 780 3GB come down in price haven't seen anywhere price drop still same

Would be nice if you can drop the MSI 770 to £200 :D

Not remotely possible, can only do it on the KFA2 as they had a big overstock problem and as such after a lot of talks they hit the price point I needed.

Any drops on other brands will ONLY come if NVIDIA do an official price drop on 770 and protect customers inventory, if they don't protect inventory no one will be moving price as all etailors and system builders have a lot of stock on GTX 770 as its typically the current best selling GPU out of all GPU's. :)

Apparently Nvidia are going to drop the price of the GTX 770.

I thought the new Nvidia cards were going to be cheaper. new chip, less power, cheaper to produce and cheaper for consumers. Or was all that bull?

Nvidia can sell 50% more cards that are slower than AMD while costing £50 more.

They have no reason to pass on lower prices, they will just increase their profit margins. make investors happy.

If they don't protect inventory though and only do it on new orders it will take several weeks to filter through unfortunately and NVIDIA not confirming anything my end on a drop. Lets see but they don't normally do knee jerk reactions and makes no sense why they would drop the price to be honest.

280 has being £149 for ages and 280X £199, so why 285 would cause them to move price makes no sense as its no faster than 280X and 285 is not exactly selling thousands per week like GTX 770 is.....

Cheaper than the 7xx retail price and cheaper than the 7xx EOL sale prices are not the same thing. The R280 (renamed HD7950) have only just become cheaper than the HD7950 was during it's EOL sale over a year ago.
