Pretty cheap sales tactic if you ask me! 
even more scandalous sales tactic would be saying:
"Free copy of Half-Life 3 when you purchase this graphics card*"
*provided that the game is released before Jan 2015
sell all the cards for people wanting free copies of a game that hasn't even been confirmed and highly unlikely to be released within the promotional window
